The masses have been frantic for nigh unto two thousand years
trying to sever the supply line of HIS grace and mercy; and for
even longer the
“many” among men have
mocked and missed HIM completely.
“Many will say to ME in that day,
LORD, LORD … And then will I profess unto them, I never knew
you:”
Not until we reach the point of desperation, are we truly ready
for JESUS to pass by.
HE may pass our way a thousand times; but it is of no use
until we reach a critical mass of conviction on a personal level
sufficient to implode that old man of sin.
There just has to be a ‘ground zero’ of ourselves, which
will produce the fallout of HIS blessed mercy; for out of that
radiation, will arise HIS righteousness.
Tragically, the
“many” percentile of men
will go their grave, having stood for their short life here, the
futile ground of their cold war with GOD.
“And ye shall seek ME, and find ME, when ye shall search for ME
with all your heart.”
If the Word of GOD is to be believed, HE is still on the move
extending mercy and seeking the lost everywhere HIS church goes.
The search party is a two way street though, with HIM
shining the light of HIS mercy into the mess of our darkness, as
HE hears us cry out for it.
Today however, there remains an ancestry of those ancient
agnostics who run interference for the underground, doing all
they can in the devils power to thwart the proof of HIS merciful
ministry.
“And the multitude rebuked them,
because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more,
saying, have mercy on us, O LORD, THOU SON of David.”
Your voice will have to come from the depths
of your depravity, for the roar of the religious crowd is
deafening, and only the inflection of the honest truth seeking
infidel will do when HE passes by.
When HE does, would to the LORD that the stones would not
have to speak in our stead!
“HE answered and said unto them, I
tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones
would immediately cry out.”
This would seem a concert of rocks more
ungodly than anything we know today.
“Also unto THEE, O LORD, belongeth mercy …”
