What is it that arouses
you spiritually? Your answer or lack thereof is
commensurate to your fomentation for GOD. The Christian
who is tethered to the SAVIOR will indeed prove to be a motivated
individual; but beyond the motivation, there must also be an axial
mindset if positive momentum is to be sustained.
"If ye then be risen
with CHRIST, seek those things which are above, where CHRIST
sitteth on the right hand of GOD. Set your affection on
things above, not on things on the earth."
The believer, and would be pilgrim
who succeeds during
their stay here, will need to contract an acute homesickness in
order to avoid the trappings of sin's pleasures for a season.
"... and
confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a
country." The focal point
of our life begets our aim, which in turn dials in the windage
and elevation to strike the coordinates of CHRIST-likeness with
deadly accuracy toward evil.
"To
him that overcometh ..."
To the VICTOR goes the spoils, given to whomsoever will
surrender for the victory.
"For whatsoever is born
of GOD overcometh the world: and this is the victory that
overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that
overcometh the world, but he that believeth that JESUS is the
SON OF GOD?" Whosoever
shall call upon the NAME of the LORD, shall be saved ... is an
invitation equal to the breadth of humanity. The line
however, leading to the "tree of life",
is single file.
The 'bullseye'
is back to our beginnings:
"... the tree of life"
Yes! ... a return to our
genesis, but different than when we left.
The ticket to take of the once forbidden tree is redeemed in
repentance. Come, take, eat to the full, and enjoy
eternal
life ... is the plea of the ONE WHO redeems the tickets.
"And
GOD shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall
there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away
... And there shall be no more curse:"
