Wherever true error is discovered, the
point of GOD'S Sword is to be brought against it.
"And take ... the sword of the SPIRIT, which is the word of
GOD:" It is the sometimes unpleasant, yet Divine duty, of
Christian leaders to be their brothers keeper. A good
shepherd not only knows when to lead his sheep, but also when to
shear them. We must predetermine who (WHO) we'll side with
when sin and evil rear their ugly head, and then purpose in HIS
strength to follow through
courageously. That which would encroach, to reproach, the
Family NAME given to us at the time of our conversion; should
foster a righteous indignation which breeds an intolerance for
anyone, or anything of that ilk, who call themselves Christian.
"These things speak, and exhort, and
rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee."
It is blood bought incumbent upon every child of GOD, to
stand against wickedness, and for holiness in the Church.
"Them that sin rebuke before all, that
others also may fear." If popularity is your
priest, find some other line of faith, for cahoots with sin, or
sinners, is at best cowardice, and at worst, idolatry.
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove,
rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."
Thank the LORD for those faithful men of GOD in our lives
who teach and preach the devil out of us. So many today
seek out the user friendly venues of religion which leave them
to walk away feeling pretty good about themselves, and their
world. The difficulty of course, lies, with the lies
they're told by those who have no interest in either leading or
shearing, but only in fleecing the sheep.
"Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being
present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the
LORD hath given me to edification, and not to destruction."
Paul addicted himself to the ministry of the saints
for the long haul. He rightly perceived that there would
be bumps along the way; and likewise understood that though the
load belonged to GOD, it was HIS commission of him to secure it
to its destination. That he did with a tenacious passion
rare to the New Testament Church of today.
"Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him
reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break
my head ..."
