Den and Storage Room Hot Cleaning Spots

A few areas that we tend to overlook can be tackled this week. The Den and Storage rooms cleaning usually fall on partial weeks at the end of the larger months because we tend to spend the least amount of time in these rooms. If that is not the case for your family you may want to swap this within your month with another room, like the Dining Room.
Monday: Desk
- Clear off the surface of your desk.
- File items in pending or current files
- Throw away pens that do not work, sharpen pencils or refill lead.
- Organize desk drawers, one at a time.
Tuesday: Computer Equipment
- Clean off computer tower, monitor, keyboard, and printer.
- Fill printer paper and check status of printer cartridges.
- Check status of supplies (checks, envelopes, stamps, cards, paper).
- Shine windows inside and out.
- Dust Mini-blinds.
- Check curtains and clean as needed.
- Pull out all items one shelf, cupboards, or drawer at a time.
- Throw away any empty or outdated items.
- Clean shelf, cupboard, or drawer all sides, corners, tops, and bottoms.
- Replace shelving paper as needed.
Friday: Entrance
- Wash entrance rug or matt.
