Dining Room                            Hot Cleaning Spots

A few areas that we tend to overlook can be tackled this week.  Remember the Dining Room is usually the place we show hospitality and is a reflection of your personality and warmth for others.  Think about that as your select coordinating table decorations and wall hangings.  Don't expect completion and perfection from the onset unless you have received an unexpected sum of money, but build a little at  a time and over time you will be pleased with the atmosphere your have created for your family and friends that is an extension of your love for them.

 Monday:  Windows

  • Shine windows inside and out.
  • Dust mini blinds.
  • Check curtains and clean as needed.

 Tuesday:  Floral Arrangements 

  • Clean vases.
  • Dust silk flower arrangements.
  • Remove dead blooms from live flower arrangements.
Wednesday:  Vents and Purifers
  • Clean vents in all rooms including rinsing out or replacing filters.
  • Clean air purifiers according to manufacturers specifications.
Thursday:  Dining Room Table Coverings, Settings, and Arrangements
  • Clean table cloths, placemats, and napkins, when not used they tend to get dusty.
  • Shine silverware and napkin ring holders.
  • Clean dishes set out on table.
  • Refill salt, pepper, and sugar condiments.

Friday:  China Cabinet

  • Unload and dust collectibles in your china cabinet.
  • Shine glass inside and out, including any mirrors or glass shelving.
  • Dust and polish wood shelving before returning collectibles inside.
  • Dust and polish outside of china cabinet.
