Fiesta Queso Dip

Tasty fat-free dip.

Total Cost:  $5.50  Serves:  16  (1/4 C.) at $.34 per serving.

Ingredients:

  • 14 1/2 ounce can of Mexican style stewed tomatoes.
  • 1 pound nonfat processed cheese spread with jalapenos.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped.

Directions to Prepare:

  • Combine: un drained tomatoes, cheese, and green onions in a sauce pan.
  • Cook: over low heat for approximately until cheese melts, stirring frequently.
  • Serve:  hot with tortilla chips.

 

Appetizer Tip:   Celery will crisp up fast by placing in a pan of cold water and add a sliced raw potato.
