Happy 4th of July!
Remove & Divide & Pinch
- Remove suckers from roses, flowering shrubs, and fruit trees.
- Remove all dead flowers, stalks.
- Divide over crowded bulbs and Iris.
- Pinch back mums until 15th.
Sow & Weed
- Sow vegetables for fall crop: beets, cabbage, lettuce, radish, and turnips etc...
- Sow seeds for annuals: calendula, sweet alyssum, and candy tuff to keep succession of bloom.
- Weed all gardens.
Feed & Water & Spray
- Feed all perennials and late flowering annuals.
- Spray for pests.
- Water lawn and all plants deeply.
