Plant & Mulch
- Finish planting spring bulbs.
- Mulch perennials with straw and compost, not covering crowns.
- Cover with soil stalks of climbers, tree roses, and young grape vines by laying them down.
Cut
- Cut back roses and other shrubs to protect from wind.
- Cut back bitten by frost.
Empty & Turn off
- Empty pots and planters to keep from cracking.
- Turn off and drain pipes and faucets, insulate.

improve your garden with each passing season. Take time to
look for gardens with interesting plants, flowers, garden accents,
designs and new ideas that inspire you. Look around gardens in
your neighborhood or while on vacation.
