Lemon Grilled
Chicken

A healthy, low fat,
low cost recipe.
Total Cost: $5.60 Serves: 4 at
$1.40 per serving.
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 white onion, minced
- 2 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon canola oil
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper Seasoning
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
Directions to Prepare:
- Combine and mix well last six ingredients in a large
Ziploc bag
- Add chicken and flip bag back and forth to coat well
- Marinate 3 to 4 hours
- Remove chicken from bag, add more lemon pepper
seasoning if desired
- Grill chicken until juices run clear
Meat Tenderizing Tip: 1/4 c vinegar, 2 T oil
and spices of your choice (Italian dressing works good) with meat in
a sealed bag for a minimum of 2 hours.
