Living Room Hot Cleaning Spots

A few areas that we tend to overlook can be tackled this week. Remember the Living Room is usually the place we spend time together as a family. You want an atmosphere that is homey and comfortable, but not cluttered. You want an atmosphere that is nice but not one that the children are afraid to breathe and live in. Ground rules are again desirable. Such as: when done with it, put it back where it belongs. Don't start a new game until the last one if put away. If it does not belong in this room, don't leave it here.
Monday: Seat Cushions
- Remove and vacuum under all couch and chair seat cushions
- Spot clean seat cushions.
- Flip, Rotate, and fluff before putting them back on the furniture.
Tuesday: Floral Arrangements
- Clean vases.
- Dust silk flower arrangements.
- Remove dead blooms from live flower arrangements.
- Shine windows inside and out.
- Dust Mini-blinds.
- Check curtains and clean as needed.
- Pull out and clean the television, DVD/VCR Player, and stereo.
- Wipe off movie and music cases, placing items in correct cases.
- Organize when returning to cabinet in alphabetical order.
Friday: Entrance
- Wash entrance rug or matt.
