Ingredients:
- cake mix, white, yellow, or pineapple, your preference
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- pineapple rings
- Maraschino cherries
Directions to Prepare:
- Melt: Butter in bottom of 9x13 cake pan while oven
is preheating
- Sprinkle: Sugar evenly on top of butter
- Arrange: Pineapple rings with cherries in the center
- Pour: Pineapple cake mix (prepared according to
package) over fruit
- Bake: In preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
- Cool: 5 minutes
- Invert: on heat resistant platter
Baking Tip: Cracks and uneven surface of
a cake may be caused by too much flour, oven temperature too hot, or
oven not completely preheated.
