He that is faithful in that which
is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is
unjust also in much. Luke 16:10
What makes each of these quick? Have
in each area wipes, or paper towels with cleaning spray readily
available. Remember this is a quick clean not a deep clean.
The deep clean will happen later. Add each one to your routine for
a whole month before adding the next one. This will keep you from
feeling overwhelmed.
 | Cleaning sink and countertops
 | After meals and before bedtime, take just a few minutes to wipe
down the kitchen sink and countertops. |
 | Unload dishwasher before breakfast (or before each meal if you
run if multiple times a day), then the family can load dirty dishes
in the dishwasher instead of stacking them in the sink until it's
full again. |
|
 | Freshen bathroom
 | After showering, use bath towel to wipe down shower, this keeps
the soap scum and water spots from building up. |
 | After brushing teeth and putting on make-up, wipe bathroom sink,
faucets and countertops. |
 | After dressing, swish the inside (keep a squirt of cleaner in
the brush holder) and wipe down the outside of the toilet. |
|
 | Quick pick-up
 | Before your husband gets home and before bedtime, take a few
minutes to pick things up and put them back in their place. |
|
 | Get up, make-it
 | When you first get out of bed in the morning, make it.
|
|
 | Quick sweep
 | After mealtimes, it's a good idea to quickly sweep the eating
area. |
 | Vacuum the high traffic areas before your husband comes home for
the evening. |
