Walking the Right Way  

Below are some guidelines for good walking form:

 

bulletPosture
bulletEyes and chin facing forward, not tilted up or down.
bulletShoulders aligned with hips, don't lean upper body or neck forward.
bulletPull abdomen muscles in tight.

 

bullet Arms
bulletBend arms at a 90 degree angle.
bulletSwing back and forth with movement in sync with opposite leg

 

bulletHands
bulletHands form a fist, not clenched or dragging through the air.  This will slow your pace down.

 

bulletFeet
bulletStep placing your heel down first then roll forward to ball of foot, then toes.

 

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.  Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.  Proverbs 4:25-26
